COVID-19 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER INFORMATION
With the Coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world, some of our terms have temporarily changed. Here's what we are doing to help you.
As we are a small family run business. nobody outside of our immediate household works for Malvern Collectables. This means that we do not have any issues with social distancing.
Order Cut Off
We normally dispatch all orders received by 2pm the same day. However, we are currently experiencing higher demand for our products. Coupled with the fact that our local post office where we generally drop off our parcels is much busier than usual, we have taken the decision to only guarantee same day dispatch for orders received by 1pm (Mon-Fri) for the time being.
Please be aware that all of the delivery services we use have warned us to expect delays to deliveries. For the most part, this means your order may take an extra day or two to arrive. If your order has not arrived 2 days after you would have expected it to, please contact us and we will investigate this.
Can the virus live on packaging?
It is believed that the coronavirus can live on cardboard for up to 24 hours and plastic for up to 72 hours. Although we ensure hands are thoroughly washed before we package any items, a number of different people will handle your package once it has left us and before it reaches you.
We recommend that once you have opened your package, you dispose of the packaging straight away and then immediately wash your hands.
Contact Free Delivery
The delivery companies that we use in the UK are all currently practising contact free delivery. This means that they will not be asking you to sign for your package. The delivery will still be recorded, however different companies have their own rules on how they are doing this. We will send you an email when we dispatch your order and this will inform you of the delivery service we are using. You will then be able to look up the relevant companies policy if you wish.
Click and Collect
We are no longer offering a click & collect service. This has now been replaced by a free local delivery service.
Where possible, we ask if you could contact us by email in the first instance. It's quite a busy time for us and we aren't always able to get to the phone. Alternatively, you can send us a message on Facebook or Twitter
